Traditional Honky Tonk Country Music

Eric Golden is a Denver native singer/guitarist playing throughout Colorado and surrounding areas. With a show heavily influenced by the Bakersfield Country Music sound he will take you through decades of Classic Country. His covers range from Dwight Yoakam, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Buck Owens, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, George Strait and many more. Dave has played the bass and sang with Eric since March of 2024, bringing the “Don Rich” to his Bakersfield sound.

Burro Days began in 1949 when the challenge went out to anyone that wanted to race alongside a burro from Leadville to Fairplay for a $500 prize! While the course has changed a few times and the prize money has grown, it is still an arduous race to the top of Mosquito Pass and back! The celebration has grown over the years adding more and more activities to the event keeping visitors and locals busy the entire weekend!
